There are three kinds of fancy work, including precise hand- embroidery, delicate appliqué, and handmade lace at the edge. The lace is tape lace with gorgeous handmade needle lace fills. Please enlarge my photos. From the delicacy of the embroidery, I would guess they are Swiss, but I have no provenance. They measures about 6" in diameter. I find no damage, no stains. I freshly hand laundered, starched and nicely ironed them for you. They are ready to put on your table when they arrive. I believe they date to the 1920s or 30s.
