1859 Canada Cent Narrow/Low 9 Dble 5 Var. 2 Huge 2 Die-Cracks Triple-Struck Obv.

Description: This is a beautiful AU (almost uncirculated) brown 1859 Queen Victoria Large Canadian penny with a "Narrow 9" and a "Low 9". The coin has a huge die-crack on its reverse side that runs completely across the center of the coin. There is also a large die-crack on the coin's obverse side. The numeral 5 has been double (or even triple) struck and is Variety 2 on the "Coins and Canada" website. There seems to be doubling of the numeral 8 as well, however, since the die-crack runs through the numeral 8 I leave that determination to the purchaser of the coin. The obverse side of the coin has been triple-struck as can be clearly seen in the photographs of many of the letters.
