1877 1C Key Date, PCGS Certified VG Details, Environmental Damage [#DMD]

Description: This is a rough coin, however with the great benefit of PCGS certification, giving you the certainty that this coin is in fact real and is in fact the key date 1877. It seemed to me that calling this coin a very good (VG) was too generous, so I sent it back to PCGS for review. They said "yes, it is indeed VG detail." Surprising to me, but there it is -- they stand behind the very good detail grade. In the photos please see the page from my PCGS account showing their determination. I also include a macro photo so you can see the level of detail on the coin. It is rough, but a genuine rarity nonetheless. This was previously listed at auction, but relisted due to a non-paying bidder. Listed now as buy now with a reasonably competitive price to account for the condition.
