Description: 1883 O Morgan Dollar AU+ This listing is for one 1883-O Morgan Dollar. It was issued by the New Orleans Mint. It was minted in 90% pure silver. This coin has light abrasion at the highest points. It has a few contact marks and abrasion throughout the design and in the fields. It has toning at the date which carries over to 12:00 on the reverse. Reflectivity is brilliant and the color is white but impaired. The reverse appears to have a haze over the center of the design and at the top of the obverse. When tilted in the light, it is easy to get a tight spiral throughout the design on the obverse and around the edges of the reverse. This coin has excellent eye appeal for the grade. It is my opinion this coin has About Uncirculated Plus details. I’m not a professional grader but believe this is well within the ballpark. Please view the detailed photos and make your own decision.
