Description: A fine double-page photogravure published in The Graphic magazine of June 19, 1897 entitled ""Memento Mori": The Skeleton at the Feast". The scene of gaiety at the Delft Fair is somewhat subdued by the arrival of the "Aanspreker" or Announcer of Deaths who is delivering his latest list of mortalities. The painting is by the English artist Sir Sydney Hall Good condition with central fold as originally published. Minor binding holes at fold (see scan). Dated in top margin. Unrelated text to the reverse . Double-page size 22 x 16 inches. This is an original antique print and not a reproduction .
