Description: 1916 Chicago Cubs cancelled check. This check was signed on the bottom right by the former owner of the team, Charles Weeghman, who was one of the founders of the Federal League and built Weeghman Park in 1914, which would later be renamed Wrigley Field. An important baseball pioneer, he died in 1938 making his autograph very rare!This check is dated November 23, 1916 (11/23/1916), was paid to Mueller Brothers, and measures approximately 8.1 inches by 3.25 inches. This is a great piece of Cubs history and would make a great gift for any Chicago Cubs fan or collector. Please see pictures and ask any questions you may have.
