Description: 1928 (AH 1346) Saudi Arabia Hejaz & Nejd Sultanate Silver 1 Riyal coin. Very rare large Saudi 90% silver coin, only 800,000 minted and rarely found in the USA. Minted at Makka al-Mukarrama (Mecca) during the reign of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman (1921-1953), the Founder of Saudi Arabia (Abd al-'Aziz b. Sa'ud, 1926-1953). Clean die shows very nice fields and wonderful aged look. Original silver luster with gold tones shows the AU/Extra Fine detail on lettering and design elements. Photos are accurate depiction of exact coin and display the authentic weight, diameter and diamagnetic silver test for authenticity. Truly an interesting and beautiful coin rarely found in collections or the USA. Superb example of this historic issue. ١٣٤٦ is year 1346/1928 on Reverse, bottom.
