Closes with small fabric covered buttons down the front. Fabric is a lightweight nylon. The top is lined in a lingerie like nylon. The skirt has a inner layer of stiff nylon that feels a little crunchy and makes a rustling sound. The outer layer of the skirt is heavily embroidered by machine. The satin ribbon around the waist is more of a cream color. It may not be original to the dress. ConditionNo stains, holes, or tears. I have washed this dress and it is clean. It is not a brilliant white. It is a soft vintage off white. I leave it up to the buyer to keep it this way or perhaps use one of the brightening cleaners if you want it brighter white. I have checked the embroidery and i do not see any loose strings or breaks in the threads. This dress has not been altered or messed with.
