Description: Up for sale is a 1959 Type B Reverse Washington silver quarter that is NGC certified MS64. With the Type B strike, the mint accidentally used the more detailed Proof Die. The tell-tail sign is that there is a little space between the E and S in the word STATES and the regular die has them nearly touching without the extra space. The Proof die is more detailed on the Eagles feathers and arrows and is listed as FS-901 in Cherry Pickers. Please enlarge photos to get a better look at the item you will receive. Only a small percentage of these Washington quarters were struck with the Type B die and most are very worn looking. Don't miss out.
