Description: This description is from Heritage Auctions when they sold it on October 19, 2012. This Special Mint Set quarter was struck without a collar die to restrain the expansion during the strike. The rims are unusually wide, particularly along the left border, and the legends near the rims exhibit spreading characteristic of a broadstrike. It was graded at NGC as MS-66*. The slab has wear. Would make a great addition to any collection. Sorry no international shipping. Thanks
