1965 Danelectro Model 1448, Brand New Pots & Jack, Original Capacitor, Nice

I now recommend that all the guitars I sell be set up to your preferences. ALL GUITARS MAY REQUIRE SET UP!!! Players have such varied opinions that I no longer want to hear about it. Here is a very cool 1965 Danelectro 1448 electric guitar. This is one of the models that originally came with the amp in the case. I never had the case, just the guitar. The guitar is in excellent used condition, especially considering it's age. Has a few nicks on the edges of the headstock,couple of small chips out of the finish on the back of the neck. The frets look very good like they were leveled a bit but no real wear. The guitar plays very well with low action(these guitars featured a micro tilt adjustment). The guitar has had three different sets of tuners on it. It now has diecast tuners but you can see some of the screw holes left from the old tuners. The body looks really good ,no major scratches or nicks. All the side binding tape is tight and the pickguard looks very good. The pots,and jack were replaced by me, I used CTS pots of the same value( 100K), the original capacitor, and a new Switchcraft jack. The old pots will be included but they had loose lugs and were quite oxidized. All the electronics funtion properly and the guitar has unique tone. Guitar plays,looks,and sounds great! Great piece of thrifty American engineering and history that still works like it should. A very cool guitar period! I describe all guitars to the best of my abilities. I don't take every guitar apart to check every freaking screw. I disclose all pimples just so there are no misunderstandings. All guitars are sold as is. I will not ship out of the U.S. My feedback is public record, and I aim to keep it good. I will no longer do local pickups period.
