1966 Fender Mustang Rosewood Neck Vintage American USA

Description: 1966 Fender Mustang Neck This neck is dated to August 1966. The nut is 1.59" wide and the neck is 0.82" thick at the 1st fret and 0.89" thick at the 12th fret. The neck is straight and the frets show average to heavy wear but it was in excellent playing condition when still on the body. The fretboard is clean and the back of the neck has a lot of wear on the finish, but no major dings or gouges. The headstock has small dings around the edges and light wear on the top. The finish and decal are original. There is an extra et of holes on the back of the headstock from when the tuners were changed. This part was removed from a genuine American made 1966 Fender Mustang. The serial number was "186856", the neck was dated to August 1966, the pots dated to October 1966.
