Description: In 1968 and 1972 there were a bunch of big and small, soft plastic, presidential campaign posters for Humphrey, Nixon and McGovern made by Milton Story company out of Hillsdale, New Jersey. There were also big and small republican and democrat mascot items, such as this 4.25" x 30.25" example with a cute democrat donkey which he called a "sashay," perhaps to stick together at the ends and drape across your body like the old women's suffrage and Goldwater Girl sashes. After these two elections, one doesn't see any of his material like this with other candidates on it, so this fact pretty much narrows down when this was produced. So put on your Gene McCarthy, Bobby K or Hubert Humphrey paper dress and have a retro party wearing this. It is in nice condition but please look at our images to judge this for yourself so that you can be happy with your purchase.
