Description: 1970s Vladimir Kagan “Nautilus” Asymmetrical Swivel Chairs for Directional This pair has been upholstered with black naugahyde leather, which is the original fabric. The design features curves and an “organic” style as normally portrayed by Kagan in his designs. The chairs feature a label on the bottom, though only still present on one chair. The label states “Directional” (brand) and “Made in USA.” The bases are wood with plastic feet to prevent scratches on a floor. The chairs swivel 180 degrees in both directions. The left chair has some loose stitching on a seam which does not affect function and has not gotten worse over time. The chairs measure 37 inches in diameter and 29.5 inches in total height.
