The motorcycle has minor customizations to tastefully improve the look and feel of the bike: AGM battery, bar-end mirrors, YSS Z-series adjustable shocks, HyperPro progressive fork springs, Bridgestone Battlax BT46 tires, Jack Batson stainless steel custom exhaust, smog device blockoff – all can easily be restored to original if desired. The bike will come with the original owner’s and Honda service manuals, tool kit, a few hundred dollars worth of never-installed extra miscellaneous OEM parts, an aftermarket carburetor jet kit and fork damping valve kit. Note: only for the full asking price, the sale will also include the removed original Honda parts which are near-impossible to find on the market: exhaust, shocks, fork springs, bar-end weights, mirrors, smog device. Pictures of these items can be provided upon request. A negotiated sale may not include these items. The condition of the bike is very good, especially for the age. It has been well-maintained with written records of service. The paint is the original black-green with gold pinstripes; there are minor blemishes consistent with the age of the bike and a couple dents on the gas tank. There is also some oxidation on the lefthand aluminum engine case and wheel spokes. The condition of bike is represented accurately in the pictures. This GB500 has been carefully maintained and is ready for a new owner who appreciates its unique charm and history.
