Description: At 83, it is time to give my Disston/other restored saws new homes. A word about the restorations. No SHINY saw plates, gently dealt with: 0000 Steel Wool, WD 40, 1000 grit sandpaper, saw plate treated with a wax as well as the tote. The tote is treated gently to preserve the patina and character of the saw. as best as I can, Here is a late 19th century rip saw (6.5 tpi), 26" length, Beech Tote, and Warranted Superior Medallion (Disston like Eagle). The etch can be read and reads: OUR SAW/ Guaranteed Cast Steel. It has split nut hardware. Will ship this saw USPS Ground Advantage.
