Description: Whitman Authorized Edition are typically well-read and peeling - that infamous transparent jacket that cracks and curls from handling. Fortunately, Annette and the Mystery at Smuggler’s Cove suffers but a little from this phenomenon (see the last two scans) and The Rebel seems completely free from this defect - a really handsome copy, although outer text block is heavily yellowed (see scan). Two great TV tie-ins from the early 60s!
