Constructed of galvanized steel, the parts are rust-resistant and require minimal maintenance. They are not subject to termites, mold and rot that affect wooden structures. They do not require specialized tools or advanced construction skills to assemble. The pre-made canopy fittings have slip-fit/eye bolt connections to make installation quick and easy. Design to suit your needs and space. You can even modify it should your needs change in the future. They can be used for temporary, semi-permanent, or permanent purposes. A Flat Roof Canopy is an excellent way to provide protection primarily from the sun. A shade structure will reduce excessive temperatures and possible heat damage resulting from direct sun exposure. When covered with permeable shade cloths or shade nets, (which allow rain and wind to pass through), Flat Roof Canopies make excellent greenhouses and shade structures. The use of an impermeable barrier (tarp) is NOT recommended to cover a Flat Roof style Canopy, as Flat Roofs do not drain rainwater well. If you are seeking protection from both sun and precipitation, a Peak or Slope Roof Canopy is recommended. Indications for a Flat Roof Canopy include but are not limited to greenhouses, RV and boat carports, batting cages, golf enclosures, and general shade structures for outdoor events/festivals, etc. Protective structural coverings to consider are shade cloth, shade nets, chicken wire, bird netting, other. *Also sold separately. 20' Wide Flat Roof Kits come complete with all Roof Fittings. Foot Pads - For temporary, semi-permanent and permanent structures, Foot Pads provide stabilization and ground anchor points for your Canopy structure. The base of each Foot Pad Fitting has four pre-drilled holes. One in the center designed for rainwater drainage and three on the perimeter allowing anchor nails or hardware of your choice to secure your structure to the ground.4. Side Wall Fittings - Add either 1, 2, or 3 Side Walls. The Side Wall upgrade not only ties your Canopy structure legs together for added horizontal strength but will also provide an attachment point to fixate side covers.
