2001 Jaguar XKR Super Charged

Description: This car I bought at an auction over 2 years with very little history NOT running. I cleaned the fuel lines and fuel tank out and replaced both ful pumps and the filters and it started right up and drove great. It was recently safety inspected in N.C.(10-24) but the AC, emergency brake, top and right rear window are not working and t's worst issue is it needs a knock sensor replaced.This sensor causes the check engine light to come on and the restricted performance light to come on and there IS restricted performance 95% of the time. This means it runs and drive as it should , smooth, clean and quiet but it hesitates strongly when giving the car more than half throttle at any time.Once this knock sensor is replaced it should run normally but I can't guarantee that. I haven't replaced it yet because it is over $100 and I am old with a bad back and the supercharger has to come off, or partially off at least to replace it right. There is supposedly a quick half fix by apparently strapping the new sensor to the top of the supercharger but no guarantee that that will work either ?? IF I still have the car long enough I might try that first just to see if that works and decide if I still want to replace the sensor at all, in case I don't think it is the sensor but something else and return the sensor maybe.. Other issues are, it has a constant chirping noise at the top of the dash that is very annoying. Some online say it is the top shock mount bushings but I refuse to believe the noise is not inside the car. The add coolant light is also on but it does not need coolant and the car NEVER overheats nor does the gauge ever go past half way.The driver seat has rips and is stuck about half way back . I am 5.7 feet tall and it is a bit of a reach to the pedals but not unconfortable at all. 5.10 would probably be the best height but the seat may be fixable with a new motor or switch and other used nice seats do popup here for under $600 delivered pretty often...Replacing both front seats with new after market seats is something I have considered also so they match perfectly. I have been driving this car as my daily driver as it is for over 2 years and LOVE IT but I'm moving soon and would rather not keep all 3 of my vehicles unless I can't close to what I think it is worth. Please examine the photos closely and ask ALL questions BEFORE buying because this car s sold "AS IS" and there are NO returns and NO partial refunds.
