Description: This listing is for a 6-club set of antique vintage hickory clubs from the 1920's. These clubs are all stamped Thistle. Made by Spalding. There is a Putter, Niblick, Mashie Niblic (marked niblick but it is really a mashie niblic head), Mashie, Mid Iron and Driver. Just like someone would have played with back then. Apparently original shafts. They all appear to have their original leather grips. The shafts have all been cleaned and oiled and the grips have all been waxed and whipped. Please look at the multiple zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. Great for the executive to display in their office. Not the normal dirty rusted as found sets you see offered on eBay. Great for display. These 100-year-old clubs are not perfect and mint. They will have some minor issues, but none will prevent them from being displayed with pride. Shipping in the US is calculated for this item and based on an 8-pound 48x5x5 box. The closer you are to me in NC (27712 zip) the less shipping will be. This is the way the carriers work and unfortunately shipping has become more expensive recently. On top of that, most buyers don't realize that eBay takes almost 15% of what I receive as stated shipping (out of $10 I only receive $8.50).
