Description: This listing is for (1) complete set of hardware (enough to do both door windows) for most 1968 and all 1969 GM A body cars such as GTO, Chevelle, El Camino, 442, Cutlass, Skylark, GS and may fit others.This kit will attach your door window glass to the regulator bracket (the part that delivers the motion for the glass to go up and down) and replace your window glass to track roller for smooth operation of your windows. The factory correct nuts that come in this kit are NOS GM steel nuts, not plastic like other kits on the market. This kit includes everything that you will need to replace your hardware to mount your regulator arm to window bracket (this bracket is the one that the window crank regulator roller goes into and bolts to the center of the glass) and also comes with all of the rollers you will need to completely rebuild your window cranking operation. In detail this kit includes 6 window crank regulator rollers (2 small and 4 large) that go into the window crank regulator arms, 10 NOS GM steel nuts, and 10 plastic washers and (these washers go on side of the window that has the steel nuts and bolts and go between the steel nuts/bolts and glass)(plastic washers may come in black or white), and on the other side of the glass (the side that the rollers go on).There is 2 rollers total that go to the rear of the door glass (each side) and these will have to be used with your original studs that are currently bolted to the rear of your window glass of your car. If you dont have the original studs that were bolted to the rear of your window glass this kit will not work for you as it does not come with the studs. (Instructions are included on how to install the rollers onto your original studs). 2 plastic washers are also included that hold the rear roller stud from turning, (these plastic washers are the black ones on the far left side as shown).There is 2 front door glass window rollers (you will need to reuse your original front window roller riveted stud to replace the front rollers as these front rollers will press on to the original studs, instructions and items to install this roller is included), and 8 rubber washers that go between the center and front bracket and the glass. These rollers have the stud that swivels for angle direction to fit regulator arm and rail as you roll the window up or down just like the factory did. This hardware kit does fit some 1968 and all 1969 GM A body cars such as GTO, Chevelle, El Camino, 442, Cutlass, Skylark, GS and may also fit other GM passenger cars and trucks but be sure to match up your original hardware with the one in this listing. This kit includes everything that you see in the pictures. If you need the window nut tool to install / remove the nut I have that in my other listings. You will get exactly what is pictured. This hardware kit is a must for a proper restoration.
