Beautifully made, with plenty of details. It has a beautiful black, greyish patina. This bronze head is of high quality and was made with the “cire perdue technique”, and is therefore unique in its kind. Beautifully finished off in detail. Almost all Benin art was created to honor the king who has reigned, with his ancestors, from the 15th century. Each is sculpted by hand, then cast in bronze.
