We put a lot of time and effort into getting this model as accurate as possible and I think we came pretty darn close. We added an extra main rotor blade to make this a 6 M/R system, 4 bladed tail/rotor, hydra rocket pods and of course miniguns, antennas and flir. Most models claiming to be AH-6 series are based off of the MD-500 civilian version with the long skid arms, not us, we had our specially lowered for accuracy. Of course the model is not perfect but we challenge you to find a better looking, more accurate mahogany wood version than this, no one comes close! Very limited on quantities so don't miss out. Comes complete with display stand but model can be used without the stand if you prefer. SATCOM is installed on some aircraft and available as an option on all aircraft. • Forward Looking Infrared, or FLIR, is a controllable, infrared surveillance system that provides a TV video-type infrared image of terrain features and ground or airborne objects of interest. The FLIR is a passive system and detects long wavelength radiant IR energy emitted, naturally or artificially, by any object in daylight or darkness.
