This book is part of a series of music books that were collected in Vienna. They are small books that are given out during concert performances. Each book is different. It may have writing and dates, notes and time era ads and information. These kinds of books can only be found in Vienna in antique stores or old book stores. They are usually tucked away. For the most part, you are not able to find these books in America. If you have the time, it is an interesting dig to find them. Each book has specific information about each concert. Now days, when you go in to see a concert, you get a much smaller program. The promotions are the same and the names of the individuals are listed. But they are just a few sheets of paper. PATINA ON COINS Patinas are films that develop on the surface of a metal, wood, or other substance over a period of time. In many instances, the development of a patina is considered desirable and may actually enhance the value of the item. One of the more desirable forms of patina has to do with the gradual development of a brown or green film on metal objects. Due to exposure to open air and the natural process of oxidation, an aged metal such as copper and bronze tend to develop a patina that is often a pleasing shade of green. Domes and roofs on buildings that feature sections of copper tend to develop this green shade over a number of years.
