Description: Rare original 1861 copy of, "The Tinman's Manual and Builder's and Mechanic's Handbook, Designed for Tinmen, Japanners, Coppersmiths, Engineers, Mechanics, Builders, Millwrights, Smiths, Masons, Carpenters, Joiners, Slaters, Plasterers, Painters, Glaziers, Pavers, Plumbers, Surveyors, Gaugers, etc; with Compositions and Receipts for other useful and important purposes in the Practical Art." The book is overall in very good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. The covers have some mild wear with a little bit of edge wear. There is a very small section of cracking to the front interior hinge; however, the binding is good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age with some occasional foxing. There is a tiny hole to the front fep which is about the size of a pencil eraser. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a tiny chip or tear, light bit of soiling or grubbiness, minor marking, creased page corner, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 7 3/4 inches by 5 inches and is 204 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
