Description: Antique 1920s Gold Lamé Lace floral silk chiffon flapper Dress Paris France This special dress has a label inside in very elaborate cursive. We believe it to to 9, Rue des Pyramides Marianne Momanteuil Paris. The over layer is a golden lamé lace. The lining is gold lamé with silk chiffon flowers appliqued in a few areas. There is a fancy golden cord rosette that measures about 4 inches wide at the lower hip and a long sash of the lace. There are some holes in the lace, the sash could be used to repair them. The lining and the dress have large round snaps, when secured it creates a blousy affect along the drop waist line. It is unclear if these are original. The photos show the dress worn both ways. Under the arms there are also large openings. The hemline of the lamé lining has a 8.5 inch hem. Some seams of this portion are thinning, and there are a few snags in the material as pictured.
