antique 5-LIGHT Candelabra Lamp ~Brass Table Chandelier~ Girandole: POSEIDON

Description: .....Added info Nov. 15th.... This may be Triton, Greek Sea-God of waves and calm. Son of Poseidon and Amphitrite. Poseidon or Neptune.... Greek or Roman.... you decide but I'll call him Poseidon. He does not have a trident, but with a long fish tail, wreath on his head and upstretched arms, this has got to be an ancient god. There's a small metal tag hanging near a prism embossed MADE IN SPAIN.... I don't know which way the Spaniards leaned when it came to gods.... The lamp measures 22" tall (without bulb or shade) x 46" around x 7" in arm's length and 7.5" across the base. Each arm has 5 sets of two prisms and the tallest center light has 4 prism sets. For safety during shipping, I will remove them and wrap them separately. The arms have an amphibious pattern to them and the whole lamp is highly decorated. A magnet does not stick to anything, indicating brass or bronze. The cord has an in-line Leviton switch and measures 65" long. The lamp works great but I do not have enough night-light bulbs to show it fully lit- I did check each socket though and they all work. The plastic sleeve covers have a dripping wax look to them and each has a flaw or crack on it. The prisms look good and sparkly, but I did not thoroughly inspect them for minute fleabites. All patina is original. This came from the estate of a little lady who was very proud of her lighting and she had some beautiful pieces. It does not come with shades or lightbulbs and please clean to your standards, as I only wiped the dust off for photography purposes. It weighs 8 pounds 4 ounces and will ship via USPS ground to the lower 48 states only please. ps.... I apologize for my cat. She did not want to get off the table and to avoid a disastrous result, I let her be.
