Antique Adze

Description: Previously owned, good vintage condition. This is an antique adze. The adze measures 10" in length. The blade is 3-5/8" wide. These were typically used to cut and smooth wood for barn or home construction, agriculture, trenching & digging. There is typical slight wear due to age, use and storage. Weighs 3-1/2 pounds. Head only, no handle. There appears to be a name stamped on the underside of the blade, but I can only make out a few letters and haven't found a matching manufacturer.
