Antique American Primitive Wooden Shaker Style Green Painted Handled Bucket Nice

Description: For sale we have a nice large size beautiful primitive painted red and green with a white interior Shaker or Shaker Style wooden bucket or pail. This is a fresh to the market bucket or pail that's untouched and has a great seasonal look. We feel this is a Shaker made bucket as it has the Diamond Escutcheons on each side of the bucket holding the bail handle. We feel the bucket or pail is all original with the original metal bands and a wire handle along with the wooden slats. The paint on the wood slats, base and metal bands appears to be from the early 1900's. The paint has nice aged variegated look throughout it's entire surface. Looks like early porch paint to us. We feel this bucket is older then the current existing painted surface but what a look. The bucket is still tight and sturdy. We pictured the early painted nails throughout the bucket that were used to keep the bands in place. This is a nice primitive example that is crudely made and it definitely has a slight oval appearance on the buckets bottom and opening. The condition is very nice with only the age wear and paint loss from usage and years of storage. We pictured this beauty from all angles and in different lighting situations. The inside of the bucket does have some wear and grunge. The bucket itself is large at approx. 6" in height without the handle extended. The top opening is approx. 7 1/4" to 7 5/8" across. This is a very nice alluring looking early primitive bucket that's untouched and has not been altered. This bucket would fit many types of collections with it's size and appearance.
