Description: This Antique Brass Microscope appears to be a Bausch and Lomb from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. It is all original, with the exception of one replaced objective lens. It has a nice patina but would look great polished and brought back to its original glory. Everything appears to work fine and there are no cracks, chips, broken glass, or any other imperfections. It has 2 objective lenses on a rotating arm and an adjustable iris under the specimen table. The 2-sided mirror is very nice and the base is a solid one piece. The adjustment wheels, turret adjustment, and tilt adjustment all work correctly, as does the eyepiece height adjustment. The original objective lens is a B&L 1/6 0.85 NA Tube Length 180.0 MM, while the replaced one is a B&L 10x, 16MM 0.25. The eyepiece lens is a #1. This would look great in your collection.
