Monel is a copper-nickel alloy that was used back in the day to create a rust-resistant finish on golf clubs. Monel is known for its high tensile strength and resistance to decay. Some say that Monel is a better choice than chrome plating for golf clubs. Face of club is almost smooth; shows traces of groove lines Hosel joint is flush and tight, hickory shaft is excellent, longer than usual leather grip appears to be original. 37••1/2 long measured down the shaft through hosel to the sole.
