Description: This club is a R. FORGAN (1880-1900), long nose, transitional, splice head driver, with the plume cleek mark on the top of thehead beneath the name R. Forgan. The name and CM are very visible. The club is beech, has a face insert and is 43 inches long.This club has the patina of a well used club that remains in very good condition in spite of it's age and wear.The grip is new but in period fashion. The dimensions of the head (1880-1890) are: Length is 3 inches, Width 2 inches, Depth 1 1/8 inches. The club is listed in " Wood Shaft Golf Club Value Guide ", by Pete Georgiady, PAGE 102, where it is valued at up to $ 800.. See photo above.
