Description: Welcome to Strack's Antiques Up for your consideration: ANTIQUE VICTORIAN HANGING GRADUATED Late 19thC French Bauble Ornament Mercury Glass and Tinsel Garland A lovely old Victorian piece, this elaborate ornament is quite the attention grabber. These were known as Victorian Whimsies. Made of mercury glass and wired garland, it measures 18 inches long and from 3 inches wide to 1-1/2 inches wide. Condition is very good with very minor signs of wear with age and use. Please see photos as they are part of the description. It's very hard to find pieces like this as most rarely survived intact as they were not the easiest to store. USED MEASUREMENTS IN THE PICTURES.
