Description: Antique Victorian Huge Cast Metal Oil Lamp Chandelier w/ Weight/Smoke Bell {157} Antique Victorian Huge Cast Iron Oil Lamp Chandelier. This light is beautiful with the original counterweight and smoke bell. The font is glass and brass and marked SURTE 1/4 LIT. The lamp is cast metal with 3 floral arms, there is an electric burner currently on it that can be replaced to convert back to oil. The collar of the font is marked HUGO 15 --- The lamp includes a clear glass chimney and a white opaline shade that sits in a 10" brass shade holder. There are minor dents/stress fractures on the outer font, the smoke bell also has a stress fracture. For the age of this lamp, it is in extraordinary condition despite the flaws. This is truly an impressive chandelier.
