Antique Vintage Cemetery Grave Marker Sign Quirky House Number 214 Goth Wicca

Description: A vintage grave plot marker number 214. I do not know the age but may be a early 20th century. An unusual collectible, garden feature or maybe for some a quirky house / flat / apartment number / drive / allotment marker. Numbered markers like this were used to mark grave plots awaiting allocation but also, over history, have been used for prisoners, convicts, asylum patients, paupers and unknown victims of disasters, warfare, accidents and disease. It has a galvanised iron stem and the lozenge shaped plaque is made of a painted alloy. The plaque is riveted on to the stem and is not quite straight. The metal is sound and good but is darkened and weathered and has some bits of rust and minor blemishes. (see photos). The numbers are 25mm (1 inches) tall.
