Description: Here is a early R. Forgan & Son - St Andrews, smooth face iron with Forgan Crown cleek mark. This putter has a smooth face. The markings on the head are clear and visible. Its condition is good, and it shows very little ware and marks. The club was lightly cleaned, and the head was carefully hand-polished to remove the oxidation and years of neglect. The club is approximately 37 inches long to the bottom of the hosel. The shaft appears to be the original. The grip appears to be a replacement, in good condition with normal wear and tear, see photos. The head is tight to the hosel when you twist it, and no cracks are visible. This club would make a very nice early player, or great addition to anyone’s Forgan collection.
