Description: This item is an antique vintage right-handed 33 1/2" wood shaft putter. A heel shafted wry neck blade. Made in Scotland by V Saunders the pro at Coombe Wood. The head is in good clean condition. Yes, it has the expected play nicks and dings but is not damaged. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old hickory. The shaft is straight, I see no cracks and it is tight at the hosel. Always re-set hickory clubs prior to play. The grip is a newer modern-day rubber. It has a stymie mark on the shaft. Guess someone was using this one. If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this hickory shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage (already done on this club). These hickory shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee hickory shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old hickory shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old hickory shafted wood with a hard range ball. Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
