You are purchasing a two-decade old vintage machine and these machines can fail. I do my best to make sure it is in working condition before selling it, but no warranty is provided. I pre-installed Mac OS 9.2.2 on it using one of the newer installers developed by the community that supports these machines. You can install Mac OS X 10.4 or Mac OS X 10.5 on it as well. In many ways this is the ultimate Mac OS 9 machine with the upgrades I have done to it. At the same time, the version of Mac OS 9 that runs on it needs USB audio to work well which is why I included the USB speakers. This is an appropriate computer for collectors and retro Mac enthusiasts. Mac OS 9 has never run faster on real hardware! You should also know that the 1.5 GHz "silent upgrade" machines can have some display incompatibilities. On modern displays they may only work under Mac OS 9 in lower resolutions when using a DVI to HDMI adapter. The mouse may occasionally freeze on startup but once booted correctly will have no further issues. Moving the mouse a bit while booting can prevent this. Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail.
