Both letters on Arthur C. Train's legal letterhead, 27 William Street, New York City, Representing the Authors League of America and the Society of Authors in London. Arthur Train was an American lawyer and writer of legal thrillers, particularly known for his novels of courtroom intrigue and the creation of the fictional lawyer Mr. Ephraim Tutt. The letters are dated February 10th and 17th 1914.
