Description: For sale are two mugs featuring Christmas trees by Arthur Wood, England. This is a matched set with each mug having a different logo imprint and believed to be different age. The white mugs feature hefty ring handles, applied trim on top rim in brown & mint green (photograph 9, varies by mug), and are adorned with a richly decorated Christmas tree & holly on both sides. Each mug measures approximately 3 1/8" wide across the the top, 4 3/4" wide including the handle and stands 3 3/8" high. The mug has an approximate capacity of 10 fluid ounces. Both vintage pieces are in good condition with no damage: they appear unused. One mug has a two-line Arthur Wood logo and heavy crazing overall but most noticeable on bottom. The mug with a single-line logo does not have any visible crazing. Both have shelf wear and are blind impressed "Made in England."
