Description: This is an old bronze coin from the Ayyubid Dynasty of medieval Egypt. This Islamic dynasty was founded by the great Saladin. It was centred in Cairo but it incorporated large areas of Iraq and Syria in the Middle-East. This coin is a one Fals piece and it comes from the rule of Al - Adil Sayf (Saladin 's Brother) period 1198-1218 AD (595- 615 AH). This coin was minted in Al Ruha or Harran (Both in Turkey) The coin is in a good condition.There is wear but most details remain fairly crisp. The coin in the photograph is the actual item for sale.
