Description: Hello, I am offering one of my baroque oboes for sale. It is by the maker Roessler and has a serial number stamped on the back of the lower joint which reads 5001. Very well maintained instrument which has undergone professional maintenance (oil, pads,. . .) Made of boxwood or similar wood with brass keys. All in very good condition and still with a smooth bore, all pieces fit tightly. I just recently performed a requiem mass by Heinrich Biber on this oboe, so I know it is in wonderful playing condition. The instrument plays at A = 440 Hz and comes with two reeds hand made by Steven Hammer and the original hard case lined in green felt. Will be carefully packaged and will be secured in its case.
