Description: The Beatles * Revolver * Parlophone * Haarlem Pressing * 1980 072-04097 * 062-04097 MADE IN HOLLAND. Contract press by CBS. You can never have enough Revolvers ! What we have here is a rare copy of Holland's Revolver done by the third party . Similar practice existed at Parlophone and Capitol when they did need an extra push for their production. Therefore , limited amount , believed to be around 50k copies was pressed thru Haarlem Pressing, Amsterdam. You can see the " Double Pressing Ring " on a label confirming a contract press. The other interesting fact about this version is that SIDE 1 laquer was cut at EMI studios while SIDE 2 laquer was cut at the other contract studio. There are totally different matrixes/runouts on both sides and the dead wax space on SIDE 2 much bigger. And then that third party was deprived from its rights and never credited on a record - What an Euro intrigue ! ACT FAST after finishing your extra research !
