Description: Beautiful antique ornate entry doorknob and backplate set in excellent plus condition circa approx. 1900. This is from an old hardware store and has never been used. Very hard to find this finish in this condition. Made of solid brass with a tiger brass finish. Finish is in excellent original condition with a few small spots. Exterior plate measure 2 3/4" x 10". Distance between centers is 3 1/8". Interior plate measures 2 3/16" x 7". Distance from thumb turn spindle to center of knob opening is 2 15/16". Knobs have a 2 1/4" diameter. Set incudes original spindle and set screws.++ I guarantee that all of my items are antique/vintage. A small number of reproductions will be listed but will be identified as such.
