Description: For sale is the pictured British P-37 backpack, as used by Commonwealth Forces in WWII. Pack is dated 1940, and also has a 1940 date on one of the shoulder straps. Looks to have been overhauled Post War, since one of the smaller straps has a 1952 date on it. Pack is extremely well made heavy canvas, and in excellent overall condition - appearing mostly unissued. Some of the smaller straps look to be post-war additions, since their color doesn't match exactly with the original pack. We believe this one may have been used by the early Israeli military, which would explain the modifications. Measures approx 14"x15".
