California Artist Oil Painting Walter Engelhardt (1893-1956) Rare Miniature

Description: Actual size of canvas painting is 6” x 8” Actual size of complete frame is approximately 8” x 10” Selling for a collector who’s had this beautiful little miniature painting for years He said this artist has now been greatly appreciated From non-smoking home, kept away in a darker room away from sunlight Please look at the pictures very very carefully as it is part of description I can always send you more pictures. If you need any more information, everything on the painting looks to be in great condition I guess this wonderful artist was born in Illinois and then came to Hollywood and started work back in the 1920s from what my friend told me He said that he’s more familiar with his paintings of showing mountain scenes or coast lines , but this is from what my friend said a California scene with boats being moored , and a beautiful tiled hotel in the background with steps and rocks going down to the sandy beach nice light shown on the tree at the right and of course the eye goes right to the umbrella just beautifully put in the middle He said, he sure with the light cleaning, professionally cleaned. This colorful umbrella could sparkle. Also whats nice is the frame is period To the painting looks like 1920s to 30s. I have sold a couple of paintings in the last year. Please look at my Feedback.
