Description: Case XX USA 10 dot 1970 stamp. Pattern # 31048 “Slim Trapper” or “Farmer’s Knife”, 4” closed.This knife is one of a relatively small percentage of the 048 patterns that were made on contract by Camillus for Case during the 1970’s.CV (carbon) steel blade.Brass liners and pins.Strong snap, no wobble.Smooth yellow Delrin handles.The back handle has a tight crack at the center pin (see photos).The blade is mint – never used, carried, or sharpened. Original factory blade finish and edge. Calling the knife “near mint” due to the handle crack as described above.Included is a vintage Case “pumpkin” box that originally held six of the 31048 pattern.
