It is referred to as a poem vase and indeed there are many Chinese character written and signed, on one side of the vase. The vase has beautiful, hand-painted mountains, water and village scenes. There is beautiful enamel work around the neck in a rose famille pattern and around the foot. The base of the vase is approx. 3.5" in diameter.
