Description: Antique London made case for the Colt 1851 Navy revolver. Come complete with an original Colt factory 36 cal bullet mold stamped Colt's Patent with some original finish, an original all-metal cleaning rod, Navy size nipple wrench, Navy size 7-inch Bartrams Co. of London powder flask in great condition with working spring/lever, Eley Bros. cap tin with brass label and original paper liner with some flaking of the brown lacquer. The case has what seems to be an original Benjamin Cogswell trade label inset in the lid interior, though the case has been expertly relined some time in the past. There is no key for the lock. The lock escutcheon sports extra fancy craftsmanship as does the lid name plate, typical of high end cases from the 1850-1870 era. Case measures 13+3/4inches long, 6+1/2 wide, 2+1/4 tall.
