There are two ways you can do it after purchasing our kit. #1 Take the kit to your local tire shop and after the read the simple instructions they will typically charge your as much as they do to patchy a tire. Most shops are between $20 and $40 unless you have a large diameter wheel then it will be more. #2 Just have your local tire shop remove the tire for you and you can apply the Rim Patch yourself. Then take it back to them to have the tire reinstalled. Rim Patch is a product that will withstand the high temperatures of the wheel that are produced on a hour long trip or aggressive driving. It is virtually unbreakable and once installed properly you would have to grind it to have it removed. Rim Patch is perfect for your large diameter wheels like 24,26,28,30, and 32 inch that are so easily cracked from even a small pothole. If your wheel has multiple cracks... NO PROBLEM! Our record to date is 11 cracks repaired on one 24 inch wheel that is still being driven on to this day. That isn't something you could ever do with an old fashioned weld.
